Another year, another olympia. Yawn.
So, the fitness internet has collectively lost its mind because the 2026 Mr. Olympia results are in. Groundbreaking. Let me guess, you spent the last few hours scrolling through photos of unnaturally tanned people holding trophies instead of, oh, I don’t know, doing a single squat? Cute.
According to this... well, let's generously call it an "article" from Fitness Volt, we have our winners. It’s basically a list of links, but I’ll work with what I’ve got. You’re lucky I’m even bothering.
The big winner and his "Historic" payday
Let’s get to the main event. Nick Walker finally did it. He defied the odds and secured a "Historic 2026 Mr. Olympia Victory." Historic? What exactly made it historic? The article doesn't bother with such trivial details. Did he do it with one arm tied behind his back? Was his posing routine set to polka music? Or was it just historic because he finally won after being the talk of the town for years? Thrilling.
And the prize money! A whopping $600,000. Sounds amazing, right? Until you factor in the literal tons of food, the "supplements," the travel, the coaching, and the fact that your entire life revolves around a single weekend for years on end. That $600k starts to look less like a lottery win and more like a long-overdue expense reimbursement. Good for him, I guess. At least he can afford his grocery bill for the next few years.
Same faces, new names, does it matter?
Let's look at the other divisions, because apparently, everyone gets a trophy these days.
- •Ryan Terry took home his 4th Men’s Physique title. Four times. Is he just that good, or is everyone else just phoning it in? At some point, it becomes less of a competition and more of a coronation.
- •Michelle Fredua-Mensah nabbed her 2nd Fitness Olympia title. Congrats, you’re officially a dynasty.
- •Then we have the newcomers to the winner's circle: Jasmine Gonzalez winning her first Bikini title and Shealynn Burnett making history in the Fit Model division. It's always nice to see new blood, I suppose. It proves that with enough dedication - and let's be honest, phenomenal genetics - anyone can reach the top.
